roll The Ministry of Communications and Information (Kemenkominfo) is constantly making digitization efforts towards a number of strategic sectors across Indonesia.

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, the Ministry of Communications and Information, through the Directorate of Digital Economy, held a workshop on the adoption of digital technology in the health sector.

The workshop, which was held in Towal City, Maluku, was held to provide midwives with an understanding of digital technology in the health sector.

Health is one of the other five priority strategic sectors of the Digital Economy Department at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology included in the Digital Technology Accreditation Program.

The head of the digital transformation team for the Directorate of Education, Health, Tourism and Digital Economy Sectors, Doki Rakmana, said, quoting on Thursday (25/8/2022).

A total of 40 participating midwives from 4 selected health centers participated in the Maternal Health Digital Ecosystem training.

Through this training, participants are expected to be able to master and understand the digital technology ecosystem such as the midwife app, dashboards for Puskesmas and regional health offices, as well as diagnostic health tools (telegraphic ECG) that detect early risk factors for Maternal mortality, infant mortality and stunting.

Of course, this activity is a great hope for the health sector, especially for the Tual community, and this is consistent with what was quoted by the acting head of the health office in the city of Tual, Norhamsa Mandak.
