News, DEPOK The President of the University of Indonesia Student Executive Council (BEM UI) Bayu Satrio said that the fortune of the UI consultant, Ari Konkoro, which has increased dramatically was abnormal.
This came in response to the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), UI consultant Ari Konkoro.
In 2018, the assets reported by UI consultant Ari Konkoro were more than IDR 27 billion.
However, in the latest report dated March 26, 2022, it was reported that the assets of UI consultant Ari Konkoro are over IDR 62 billion, which means an increase of IDR 35 billion.
Bayo said his party considers the increase in assets unreasonable.
“Yes, so the increase in UI Chancellor’s fortune over the past three years is an abnormal increase in assets by the university president or the administrator on campus,” Baio said by phone, Monday (29/8/2022).
Bayu also brought up university president Ari Konkoro, who has simultaneously served as the vice president commissioner for the Belt and Road Initiative since February 18, 2020, until his finally resigning on Thursday (22/7/2021).
“As we know, the consultant once worked as a commissioner at BRI, of which perhaps little of his income over the past three years has come from outside the UI,” he said.
“In the end, the rector did not focus on solving problems at the University of Indonesia,” Bayo concluded.
