The Indonesian Internet Domain Name Manager (PANDI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting digital resilience in Indonesia by holding the Digital Resilience Conference and Exhibition (ID-RES) on August 24-25, 2022 at Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta in a mixed (online and offline) manner.

With the theme “Creating Digital Resilience and Indonesian Sovereignty on the Internet”, PANDI invited more than 30 speakers who are experts in the digital field and invited Internet governance stakeholders such as government, entrepreneurs, students, registrants, and SME players to the ID-RES activities. this. In this ID-RES activity, PANDI is also inviting the public, especially small and medium businesses, to use the domain biz.id.

“This ID-RES activity raises the issue of digital resilience which is very important to all of us and is one of the efforts to increase the use of information technology,” said PANDI President Yudho Giri Sucahyo.

Moreover, Yudho explained that in the age of digitalization and globalization, it is very important to keep digital resilience together by all elements of government and society without exception. “We must all cooperate to achieve this digital resilience, let us all cooperate to increase digital resilience which of course cannot be separated from the participation of all parties starting from government, academics, practitioners, students and the general public,” Yudo explained.

Meanwhile, Dean Iwan Sumantry as President of PUSINFOLAHTA TNI also emphasized the importance of digital resilience. Brijen TNI Iwan Sumantri explained, “Current defense is not only about regional defense, but also includes defense in the digital world, and the Indonesian National Army plays a role in achieving digital resilience by providing a sense of security to internet users from all forms of threats.” .
