News, JAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of the Fifth Committee of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Saifullah Tamliha, has distributed assistance on the Housing Incentive Self-Help Program (BSPS) and the Irrigation Program from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) to beneficiaries in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan.

Saifullah said the Home Rehabilitation Assistance Program or the Housing Stimulus Assistance Program (BSPS) aims to improve the quality of homes to make them more livable.

“In this case, the community is also actively participating in the implementation of this program,” Saifullah said, Wednesday (24/8/2022).

He said the Home Renovation Assistance (BSPS) in Banjar Regency amounted to 20 million rupees per home.

There were as many as 1,349 homes that received assistance.

The first aid details are 1214 houses located in Karang Intan district, 91 houses in Aranyu district, 32 houses in Martapura district, and 12 houses in Bengaron district.

“We hope that the recipients of this help to rehabilitate the house will feel the benefits,” the PPP politician said.

Meanwhile, Saifullah said, assistance from the Irrigation Water Use Improvement Program (P3-TGAI) has been distributed to 13 clusters in Beet Regency.

This program is valued at 195 million rupees per group and was symbolically handed over to P3A Mundam Lestari Group, Jingah Habang Ilir Village, Karang Intan District, Banjar Regency.

They really need help, especially if there are groups of farmers or farmers who failed to plant and failed to harvest. This of course needs our attention as representatives of the people in South Kalimantan,” he said.
