The Pemangkat Police, who received news of a baby kidnapping case in Pemangkat District, immediately launched an investigation and investigation.

In addition, the Pemangkat police immediately coordinated with the Singkawang police, because from the information obtained, the child and the kidnappers were already in Singkawang City.

After an inspection was carried out, the residents finally found the child in the yard, then the discovery was immediately reported to the police.

Pimankat Police Chief, Kumpul Vera Medar, said his party had received reports of child abduction cases circulating on social media.

“After receiving the report, the officers immediately went to the crime scene to conduct an investigation and search,” he said.

Immediately upon his discovery, the police chief immediately took the child to the home of his biological parents in the Pemankat district. “Currently, the child has been handed over to his parents,” he said.

Meanwhile, the culprit with his initials AN has now been arrested in cooperation with Singkawang Police. “We are still investigating, and we are already in the Pemangat Police to develop the alleged child abduction case,” he said.

For his actions, the perpetrators will be charged with Section 83 of the Child Protection Law with a prison sentence of 3 years and a maximum of 15 years.
