News, JAKARTA – The National Mandate Party (PAN) has announced the name of the presidential candidate or presidential candidate to be announced in the upcoming 2024 elections.
PAN General President, Zulkifli Hassan, immediately announced the proposed names of presidential candidates in front of thousands of his cadres at the National Action Meeting held in Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (27/8/2022).
Zulhas, his nickname, has announced that he is ready to run for president in the 2024 elections.
He then referred to two of the political party leaders of the United Indonesia Alliance (KIB), the General President of Golkar Erlanga Hartarto and the General Chairman of the PPP Suharso Munwarva.
Zulhas also announced that PDI-P General President Puan Maharani will be the candidate for the presidency promoted by PAN.

However, PAN cadres who were present at the National Action Meeting cheered Puan when her name was mentioned.
“Another leader of the party, Ms. Puan Maharani,” Zolhas said from the podium.
“Whuu” chanted to PAN cadres at the national work meeting.
Based on the calculations, the chants lasted for about 21 seconds.
